Summary:Help clients "shop" for furniture and household goods that fit their needs and style. They help clients solve space and logistical constraints
Responsibilities:
Establish a polite and respectful relationship with the clients.
Be familiar with showroom areas.
Take the client through the entire showroom.
Understand and be able to explain item limits in a polite and respectful manner.
Neatly and accurately complete Distribution Form.
Pack small items neatly and securely.
Remind clients that it is their responsibility to secure items for safe transport.
Provide twine if necessary.
Keep all client and donor information confidential.
Qualifications:
Attention to detail
Good interpersonal skills
Customer service skills
Spanish and Portuguese speakers encouraged to apply

Household Goods is an independent 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization based in Acton, MA that provides household goods, free of charge, to people in need.
Description
We accept donations of gently used household items that will help people make a home. Our volunteers receive, sort and distribute items to individuals and families from over 130 communities in eastern Massachusetts. As an organization staffed by volunteers, we depend on the generosity of community members for goods, time and financial support.
