Second Chance Foods elevates the health of people and planet by making sure good, nutritious food gets on the tables of hungry families instead of the landfill. We receive donations of all kinds of food from a variety of organizations that want to help break the cycle of food waste. We need volunteers to pick up that food and connect it to people and hunger relief partners throughout the week. (Over 6,500 pounds of food is picked up and delivered to the Second Chance Foods Kitchen throughout an average week!)
Would you like to be "on-call" for the deliveries or pick ups throughout the week? If you have a midsize vehicle and can lift food boxes up to 50lbs we NEED YOU!
