As a Fundraising & Event Support volunteer with Save the Kitties, you will play a vital role in helping us raise the funds necessary to care for cats in our care. Fundraising is a lifeline that allows us to continue our vital work, covering expenses such as veterinary care, food, shelter, and essential supplies for the shelter. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Event Planning & Organization: Collaborate with the fundraising team to plan and organize various fundraising events. This may include brainstorming event concepts, setting dates and venues, coordinating logistics, and ensuring everything runs smoothly on event days.

• Donation Solicitation: Actively seek physical and monetary donations and prizes from local businesses, individuals, and sponsors to support our fundraising events. Your efforts will help us provide attractive incentives to donors and participants.

• Event Assistance: Attend fundraising events and provide valuable support where needed. This could involve helping with setup, registration, crowd engagement, or any other tasks necessary for event success.

• Online Fundraising: Contribute to our online fundraising efforts, which may include assisting with our e-commerce store, promoting online campaigns, and engaging with supporters through social media and other digital channels.

• Creative Input: Use your creativity to brainstorm and propose new event ideas, promotional strategies, and innovative approaches to reach our fundraising goals.
