Do you want to make a positive difference in the lives of those who need it?

We are searching for empathetic volunteers to facilitate virtual support groups for our Newly Diagnosed Connect patients nationwide. We require patients who have been successfully managing their conditions for at least five years and have availability on weeknights or weekends.

By providing much-needed support, social interaction, and educational opportunities to adults with various types of arthritis and rheumatic diseases, our Connect Groups offer a chance to connect with others and have a positive impact on their lives. Join us in this meaningful endeavor, and let's make a difference together!

Facilitators bring people together to provide:
  • social and informative events and activities focused on peer support and positive coping strategies
  • understanding and encouragement for both people living with arthritis and their loved ones
  • strategies supporting members become self-advocates, develop self-management skills and learn how to not just survive life with arthritis but to thrive!
Facilitators abide by the Live Yes! Connect Group Guidelines and Terms & Conditions, practice ethical confidentiality standards and represent Arthritis Foundation in a professional, respectful, and positive manner.
