The volunteer will assist the Refugee Services Employment team with finding businesses in the community that will accommodate refugee employees, as well as assist clients with interview skills and resume building. The volunteer must have an understanding and appreciation of marginalized and diverse communities and be comfortable speaking to businesses about the benefits they may offer.

Preferred skills:

  • Experience working with diverse cultures and communities
  • A committed, dependable, and adaptable personality
  • HR or Business experience

Volunteers must complete the agency application process, which includes a background check, safety training, as well as a new volunteer orientation.

Volunteers are needed for approximately 4-8 hours per week during office hours, which are Monday through Thursday between 8 am and 4 pm. CCA is flexible based on volunteer’s schedule within our business hours.
