The role of the Dietary Liaison Volunteer is to assist the patient in their future meal selection to ensure they have a meal they are interested in eating. The purpose of this is to promote healing through proper nutrition. The Dietary Liaison Volunteer will have a list of patients and will visit them in their room to review their menu choices. The volunteer will also assist staff in rounding with patients to ensure the taste, accuracy, and temperature of their food. The volunteer will enter this data into a spreadsheet to assist staff tract trends and identify opportunities for improvement.

Description
Volunteer Services is currently seeking adult and student volunteers. We currently have 3 categories of volunteers: High School, at least 16 years old and a Sophomore, College and Adults, adults, primarily not in school. When applying, please indicate which category you are.
