Job Title: Community Engagement Intern

Find Community Connection Project
Location: Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid Position)
Duration: A commitment of three months is required.
Hours: 10-20 hours per week

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Community Engagement Intern to join our Find Community Connection Project team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Community Outreach: Connect with local community members to promote our mission.

- Social Media Support: Assist in managing our social media presence and engaging with our online community.

- Event Assistance: Help plan and run community events and workshops.

- Volunteer Coordination: Work with our volunteer team to recruit and support volunteers.

- Content Creation: Contribute to content development like blogs, videos, and graphics.

- Communication: Keep supporters and partners informed through email and newsletters.

- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of community engagement.

- Feedback Gathering: Collect feedback to improve our programs.

- Event Coordination: Assist in event logistics and registration.

- Research: Research community needs and trends.

- Administration: Handle administrative tasks and meeting coordination.

- Collaboration: Work with the team to achieve our goals.

- Adaptability: Be flexible and ready to take on new tasks as needed.

- Excellent organizational and planning abilities with keen attention to detail.

- A passion for and dedication to a career in nonprofit management or a related field.

- The capability to work effectively both within a team and independently.

- Proficiency in fundamental computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Google Drive.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; working towards a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
