Do you love writing and cats? This virtual opportunity is perfect for anyone who has a bit of spare time, enjoys creative writing and loves felines. The job of feline adoption bio volunteers is to compose a short bio for each of our adoptable cats so we can list them for adoption on our website. Wonderful, witty, adorable bios make a tremendous difference when our cats are searching for their forever home. You will be playing a direct part in cats finding their families!

Volunteers must have a computer or other device that will allow them to write bios and email us. Foster families fill out foster feedback forms that share a bit about the cat and their likes/dislikes and then bio volunteers work their magic and spin it into several paragraphs that perfectly describe that kitty. Interested in helping? Email ashlynn@pawsandclawscatrescue.org

Volunteers can live anywhere in the US. Local volunteers in Evanston, IL are also welcome to write bios onsite at our shelter while hanging out with the cats.

About Paws and Claws Cat Rescue

Location:

829 Chicago Ave., Evanston, IL 60202, US

Mission Statement

Paws and Claws Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preventing and alleviating the suffering caused by abuse, neglect, and overpopulation. We help dogs and cats mentally and physically heal, and give them a chance to find love, a full life, and a forever home.

Description

Paws and Claws is a cat rescue that focuses on rescuing orphaned neonatal kittens, nursing kittens with their mothers, under-socialized cats, and dogs who have been at animal care and control facilities for too long. We see ourselves as the crossing guards for these vulnerable animals, helping them get from their past, whether that be from a traumatic home, a kennel, or a euthanasia list, to a safe and kind human who will love them.
