Description
Invest directly in the lives of teens facing life’s challenges during Support Group programs. Teens benefit from hearing from other teens facing similar trials and receive support and encouragement from their peers and small group leaders.
Key Roles & Qualifications
- Love youth and care about families who are struggling
- Good interpersonal skills, reliable, empathetic and good listener
- Assist and facilitate small group discussion amongst teens
- Build intentional, personal relationships with teens
- Non-judgmental
- A Christian willing to support teens in a faith-neutral environment
Time commitment & Requirements
- Sundays 6:30-8:00 PM
- Starting Fall 2024
- Complete Volunteer Orientation, background check and volunteer training
- Participate in support group debriefings
