Community Outreach Volunteer needed to find Hospice Volunteers!

Accentcare Hospice in Pinellas County is looking for a Community Outreach Volunteer who can help us in finding more Volunteers to serve our patients and their families.

This role would include attending events like health fairs, Volunteer fairs, intern/job fairs, and other community events where we might set up a table to share information to the public about our Volunteer opportunities. If interested, you would have the option to speak at luncheons or spend an afternoon passing out our Volunteer flyer to the community. We are flexible in exactly how YOU would like to Volunteer!

This Volunteer would be a Hospice and Volunteer advocate at heart. They would be friendly and organized. We can train the rest!

Our Volunteers serve our patients in a variety of ways from being a companion to providing relief so that our caregivers can get a break to take care of themselves and their needs. Our Volunteers help in our IPC centers by keeping our patient's company or by bringing in their fur babies to share with our patients, their families, and our staff.

We would love to have you help us in sharing our Volunteer opportunities to the community in hopes that we recruit more Volunteers to serve our patients at the end of their lives.
