Come join our team as a Bilingual Spanish Proofreader!

As a Bilingual Proofreader volunteer will work closely with the Multicultural Communications Director to translate and review written or spoken materials from one language. You must be fluent in writing and reading in Spanish and English and understanding common cultures and phrases in this role.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in linguistics, translation, interpretation, Spanish philology or a related field, professional, verifiable experience translating from English to Spanish, supported by a translation portfolio or work samples, Expert-level fluency in Spanish, with excellent knowledge and mastery of English and experience with machine translation tools and translation memory systems.
