ORGANIZATION: Colorado Palliative & Hospice Care of Colorado Springs

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 2 people are interested

Spending time with others at the end of their lives is a profoundly moving experience. You create a special space for them by sharing your time-- read, review their life history, write a letter to a loved one for the, or just sit with them and provide a comforting presence. As a hospice volunteer, you receive special training to support the hospice patient and their family in a variety of ways.
You must pass a background check, complete orientation at your own pace and mentor with hospice staff.
