Operation Smile has recently opened their brand-new, state-of-the art exhibit at our Global Headquarters in Virginia Beach. The Anthony L. and Hideko S. Burgess Interactive Learning Center (ILC) is an opportunity for students and the community to learn more about our patients affected by cleft conditions, their families, and our amazing volunteers who bring healing and smiles to those who need it most. Volunteers in this position will support exhibit activities, and help our Center to be a success. Key responsibilities for this opportunity include packaging and preparing marketing materials for distribution, organizing and filing, data entry, and event support; including set up and tear down, guest check-in.
Our volunteers at Operation Smile Global Headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA are such an integral part of our team. They help us accomplish our goal of delivering safe surgery to all of our patients. Description
Operation Smile is an international medical charity that has provided hundreds of thousands of free surgeries for children and young adults in developing countries who are born with cleft lip, cleft palate or other facial deformities. It is one of the oldest and largest volunteer-based organizations dedicated to improving the health and lives of children worldwide through access to surgical care.
