Each year, The Salvation Army supports hundreds of thousands of children nationally with clothing and gifts, given by generous local donors.
The first step of the process in Salt Lake City is to receive applications from local parents seeking to sign up their children. These appointments are in-person in early October, where we will verify the household information from their supplied documents and enter their requests into our computer database.
A welcoming demeanor and non-judgemental attitude are required, as well as the ability to type and navigate computer software (with a help guide). Spanish/bilingual a definite plus!

- Orientation or Training
- Each volunteer slot begins with an orientation about our Christmas program and the process of interviewing families. A computer will be provided as well as a "how-to" guide. Please try to be on time for orientation.
- Must be able to type and navigate the software provided. Bring reading glasses if needed. Bilingual (Spanish) a huge plus!
