Position: Sports/Outdoor Recreation - Youth Leader Volunteer

Location: Carlton County, Cloquet, MN

About Us: REACH Youth-Adult Partnerships is dedicated to providing engaging out-of-school activities for youth aged 10-21 in Carlton County. We believe in the power of mentorship and community involvement to help young people thrive.

Position Description: We are seeking adult volunteers to join our team as Sports and Outdoor Recreation leaders. The students are interested in sports, learning survival skills, doing outdoor activities such as hiking, foraging, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Show up on time to the event.
• Communicate with staff and volunteers
• Have a welcoming attitude and be open minded.
• And most of all have fun with the youth. This is their time to shine.
• Have a great imagination!!

Requirements:

• Passion for working with youth.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to positive youth development.
• A clear background check may be required.

Time Commitment: Programming during the school year is 3:30 to 5:30 Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday; 3:00 to 5:00 on Wednesdays. Summer programming is 11:00 to 1:00 Monday thru Thursday, unless stated otherwise.

REACH personalizes each goal with each individual youth.
