Code for fun is a nonĀ­profit organization, located in the San Francisco Bay Area, committed to exposing all students to computer science at an early age. We offer after school programs, camps, in school instruction and teachers training, throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Graphic Designer tasks -

  • Design and edit images, such as logos, photographs and graphics
  • Create visually appealing print and digital material
  • Create layouts for marketing that are consistent with our brand guidelines as well as our website

Requiements for this position: Experience with creating captivating graphic design creation. Ability to work independently. Available to work on projects with short deadlines.

Content Writer tasks -
  • Create weekly newsletters using MailChimp
  • Perform basic research and be able to craft engaging content
  • Create content that is consistent with company style guide and brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with marketing team to ensure that content is on target and optimized for specific audiences
  • Have strong command of the written English language, an eye for how details can make a big impact and to create top-quality website content that will engage audience and generate leads for clients
  • Be an integral part of our overall content marketing efforts to promote sales and develop a sense of community

Requiements for this position: Experience with engaging content creation. Ability to work independently. Available to work on projects with short deadlines. For Mailchimp newsletters, must have experience with Mailchimp to design and distribute newsletters

Preferred skills:
  • Able to work well independently with minimal supervision
  • Have strong organizational skills and is self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Detail-oriented and deadline focused, with a get-things-done attitude


This experience will provide you an opportunity to develop marketing as well as people skills.
You will work with a team of very passionate individuals focused on quality education.
Training and support will be available.

We are looking for a detail oriented and organized team-players who are committed and responsible. Position open for age 18+

This is a remote opportunity with about 3 to 5 hours of engagement per week.

You will need to clear background check as a part of our on-boarding process.
For ease of this clearance we prefer volunteers currently residing in the state of California.

Code for fun is a non-profit organization committed to exposing students all over the world, to computer programming at an early stage, to help grow the next generation of engineers.

Description

We expose students from Kindergarten to High-School to coding in an interactive way. We offer after school programs and camps all over the San Francisco Bay Area.

Students get familiar with computer programming concepts, build their own game, and continue updating their work later on.
