Are YOU ready to help our Neighbors GET AHEAD? Orion is hosting a program for families to investigate poverty. Families could not attend this program without some supportive individuals like you who will assist with meal set up and/or engage with their children.
Volunteer Roles:
- 5:00 to 6:15 - Dinner Help. Ann’s Heart is generously providing dinner for this program and we could use 2 people to warm up food, set up the meal buffet style and clean up.
- 5:15 to 8:00 - Engage with some great kids. Our families could not participate with these impactful programs without someone to care for their children. Ensure supervision and safety of children while engaging in homework assistance (when needed), board games, crafts, etc. We may also create a book club with the kids. If anyone would like to come prepared with an activity, we are certainly open to that.
