JOB TITLE: Community Cats Team member REPORT TO: Program Manager TIME COMMITMENT: Varies. PURPOSE: To assist the Community Cats Program as needed. DUTIES: To assist with telephone calls, cleaning cages and traps, socializing cats, communicating with colony caretakers. QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to handle multiple tasks and to work independently. General office procedure knowledge is helpful. Good communication skills and animal handling skills Knowledge of animal behavior is helpful. TRAINING: Brief orientation, tour and review of the job description with staff. On the job training with staff. DRESS CODE: Volunteer T-shirt and name tag. Wear long pants, closed toe, rubber-soled non-slip shoes.
