Job Overview:
HHP is looking for a volunteer Technical Project Manager (TPM) to join a mission driven non-profit organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze, plan, and develop project requirements
  • Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones
  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects, including leading weekly team project meetings
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
  • Participate in developing project management process, workflow, and documentation
  • Assist in recruiting and training additional members of the TPM Team
  • Manage relevant systems/tools used by the TPM Team (i.e., Trello)
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team with other professionals
  • Follow brand guidelines
  • Make suggestions for better solutions and work collaboratively to gather user feedback
  • Keep abreast of the latest and emerging technologies
Requirements:
  • Project Management degree or a minimum of 2 years related work experience preferred
  • Professional Project Management certification is a plus
  • Prior work experience in healthcare & life sciences sector is a plus
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in project management
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance
  • General knowledge and experience with web technology
  • Team player
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills (good English speaker and writer)
  • Fast and reliable internet connection
Skills:
  • General knowledge in software development and web design / UX
  • Working knowledge of systems/tools: Trello, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom
