About Our Organization: Dunk4Dreams is a non-profit organization committed to providing basketball-centric programs and technology access to underserved youth, focusing on minority communities.

Job Description: We seek Program Teaching Assistants to join our dynamic and passionate team. In this role, you will be vital in supporting our program leaders, contributing to the curriculum development, and assisting in implementing our basketball and technology education initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist program leaders in developing and implementing curriculum for basketball and technology programs
  • Provide support to program participants, facilitating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of instructional materials and resources
  • Collaborate with program leaders in evaluating participant progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Contribute to building strong relationships within the community, acting as a positive representative of Dunk4Dreams
  • Engage in voluntary initiatives, demonstrating commitment to the organization's mission and values

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in teaching, mentoring, or a similar role involving youth engagement (experience with sports and technology education is a plus)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse groups
  • Passion for our cause and mission and a commitment to community development
  • Experience with or willingness to learn technology relevant to our programs, such as basic coding or digital design tools
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team
