It’s that time of year again - Yard Sale time! And we need your help. For those who are new to Colby's Army, this is our 9th annual sale Yard Sale, and it has grown to be the largest sale in Cheatham County.
Last year we had 706 people come through the sale, and yes, we do count, since we need to provide numbers to our sponsors. We also provide each shopper with a map of the sale (it really is that big), along with information about us.
This is our largest fundraiser and it takes a whole lot of people to make it happen. Plus, if you help out, you get to shop first, and we have some pretty fabulous items every year! Intake will end the Saturday before the sale so we have time to position and price everything. We also test every item that has an electrical cord.
We need people every Wednesday-Saturday 9AM-5PM until the sale happens to help sort donations and move a few things around the barn. You do not need to stay all day! Just let us know when you'll be available to help. If those days and times do not work into your schedule, let me know and we’ll see if we can find another option.

A sustainable farm-based learning center in Ashland City, Tennessee, Colby's Army uses therapeutic riding and equine-assisted activities to provide learning opportunities for veterans, homeless and recently housed, people with disabilities, and others with life challenges. Our organic garden feeds hungry people and we perform homeless outreach by giving backpacks stocked with toiletries, first aid, and street supplies to those in need. Individually we make a difference, together we are changing the world!
