Join our small and growing board of directors to help craft the direction of Peninsula Book Collaborative in North San Mateo County.
Who we are looking for?
- Someone passionate about books
- Someone who can be an ambassador in the community to raise awareness and funds
- Someone able to join events on evenings and weekends
- Someone able to attend monthly meetings
-Someone who believes North San Mateo County deserves a bookstore and community space

Mission Statement
Peninsula Book Collaborative’s mission is to build and grow the next generation of book lovers. We do this by providing a space to find books, learn together, and build community.
Description
We believe books should be celebrated and be a tool for growth and connection. With the lack of bookstores in North San Mateo County, communities lack a way to find materials for learning, growing and ways to build community. Anchored by proceeds from the bookstore, the Peninsula Book Collaborative will be able to support current nonprofits supporting literacy, provide a space for literary efforts and build a community of lifelong learners.
