Seeking a passionate Volunteer SEO Specialist to join RP, where you'll collaborate with our dynamic teams to elevate Rainforest Partnership's digital footprint.

Do you want to make a difference for our planet and get hands-on work experience at an international conservation NGO? Rainforest Partnership (RP) is a non-profit based in Austin, Texas, with team members in the US, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico and Europe. We conserve and restore tropical rainforests by working with communities to develop sustainable livelihoods that empower and respect both people and nature.

RP is currently looking for an experienced Volunteer SEO Specialist to work extensively with Google Analytics and Google AdWords, managing the platforms to strengthen Rainforest Partnership’s online presence, brand reputation, website user experience, and connection to target audiences. This work will be done in collaboration with the website and marketing teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform comprehensive keyword research to pinpoint impactful keywords concerning rainforest conservation and environmental concerns to enhance brand visibility, drive growth, secure funding, and improve audience understanding.
• Optimize old and new copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.
• Conduct SEO research, apply recommendations for content aligned with our mission, target audience, and search optimization, enhancing online presence and rankings.
• Work with website and marketing teams to develop an SEO-focused content strategy.
• Manage, optimize, and organize PPC campaigns for our organization, primarily in Google Ads.
• Strategize, develop, and maintain search engine marketing campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-4 years of experience with Search Engine Optimization and/or Google Ads; Experience navigating Google Ad Grants for a nonprofit is a big plus.
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
• Familiarity with Webflow or WordPress for SEO purposes preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Creativity in developing innovative strategies to increase online visibility.
• Positive attitude and humility.
• Knowledge of Spanish language is appreciated but not required.
