We are now on our Summer Schedule!!! Our horses still need care and we will continue to work with them over the summer. You can also work on skills to aid in classes when they start back in Sept. Our Volunteers allow us to make a difference and promote the benefits of equine therapy for special needs children and adults. If you would like to experience the reward of helping people from all walks of life regain confidence and strength through horseback riding then Horses With A Mission is the place for you. Our days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

* Assist with the care of the horses
* Assist with facility maintenance * No experience needed

* Help in classes as a leader or side walker

Giving People with Physical, Mental and Emotional Disabilities a chance to bond and experience the Therapeutic benefit of Horses.

Description

Horses With a Mission is a Therapeutic Riding Center. Therapeutic Riding is an equine-assisted activity for the purpose of contributing positively to the cognitive, physical, emotional, and social well-being of individuals with special needs. In 2018 Vicki became PATH certified and in 2019 became the owner of Horses With a Mission and is the lead instructor. Volunteers are an essential part of Horses With a Mission. They help care for the horses, feeding grooming and barn chores. They are also needed for classes helping with leading the horses and walking beside the rider (side walking).
