Perform interviews to set up training of new volunteers.
Provide training or delegate training of volunteers to qualified volunteers.
Schedule 1-2 volunteers for a minimum two shifts per day; three shifts are optimal.
Ensures volunteers show up when they are scheduled.
Establish guidelines for volunteers.
Inform the volunteer coordinator of the status of volunteers upon request or as needed. Provides reports to the Board when requested.
Maintains/updates Group Chats as appropriate.
Schedules meetings via Meets with volunteers and participates in meetings with other managers.
Works closely with Apopka Facilities Manager and provides volunteers as needed (i.e. laundry, events, etc.)
Must first actively train in cat care protocol. Not for those afraid to get their hands dirty.
Maintains close contact with the volunteers.
Must be 26 and older.

Candy's Cats mission is simple; to save cats. The rescue focuses on stray cats; the ones who are least likely to be saved without our intervention.
Description
Candy's Cat s Inc. (CCI) was founded and incorporated in 2005 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill cat rescue. Based in Apopka FL, CCI has volunteers and foster homes spread across 3 Central Florida counties. Since 2005 CCI has saved thousands of cats and has built a solid reputation in the community. The CCI team is passionate about saving cats. The rescue has active adoption programs with two pet stores, a fundraising program that finances the organization, and a TNR program that helps the feral cats in the community.
