Many evening and weekend shows on Sankofa Radio, are volunteer-powered. We rely on the talents and energies of our dedicated volunteers for many of our on-air and off-air activities. There are a variety of ways you can contribute to the station and learn the craft of radio.
Hosts and Producers
Sankofa Radio has volunteer opportunities for experienced and amatuer radio hosts.
Are you interested in applying your broadcasting skills to help community radio thrive? If you have a few volunteer hours available each week, Sankofa Radio might be a great opportunity for you to make a difference.
We need confident and technically adept individuals for the following volunteer roles: music program host, news program host, board operator, audio producer, and assistant producer and social media coordinator.
