Once you are trained, this position can be done remotely! None of these tasks take very long and will come to you sporadically. Permanent sign up sheets need to be maintained weekly (subject to change) and everything else will come to you after orientations, or after a new volunteer has been onboarded.
-Enters waivers into Salesforce
-Create PIN in Open Time Clock
-Adding email to newsletter list
-Sends new volunteer texting app invitation
-Maintains permanent sign up sheets (i.e. pen cleaning, feeding, tank cleaning, Keith’s sessions)
-Write Volunteer of the Month bio
-Emails volunteer hours to corrections, schools or volunteers when requested

Mission Statement
Victory Riding Academy's mission is: Improving the quality of life of our students with equine-facilitated activities. To help the students persevere (maintain a purpose in spite of difficulty, obstacles or discouragement); Overcome (succeed in dealing with a problem or difficulty); and Conquer (to gain a victory over) any of life's challenges. Our program is offered to members of the military, veterans, police, fire, first responders and their families. Whether it's defending our country, our city or helping individuals in crisis, the men and women who perform these services and their families are often the ones who need help in the aftermath of executing their duties.
Description
Victory Riding Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation founded in 2010 and achieved non-profit status in June of 2012. In addition, VRA was accepted and registered as a Horses4Heroes Gold Star riding facility in October 2012. We are funded 100% by donations; no one at Victory receives a salary or any compensation.
