Not all hospice volunteers work directly with patients. Compassus is looking for kind-hearted volunteers who prefer to work behind the scenes doing administrative and office tasks. In particular, we are looking for volunteers to assist with Bereavement support for the family and caregivers after a patient passes. Volunteers will work alongside our Bereavement Coordinator to send letters, make phone calls, help with the monthly bereavement support group, help with planning the remembrance gatherings and more. Volunteers are an important part of the Compassus team! Other administrative volunteer opportunities are also available.
