Join our team as a hospice volunteer working behind the scenes to make a difference. Make weekly phone calls to hospice patients and their caregivers before the weekend to check on their medical supplies or other needs. Good listening and communication skills are necessary. Phone calls can be made at the Evansville Compassus office branch or potentially remotely. Compassus serves 10 counties in Southern Indiana. Ability to maintain HIPPA is a must for confidentiality. Wednesday or Thursday calls are preferred.
Other administrative volunteer opportunities are available as well such as putting together admission packets, mailing bereavement letters, and more.
