We are excited to celebrate the Holi Color Festival for the second year in a row! This wonderful event was created to promote a more inclusive environment for all seniors in our community. Last year, we organized a health fair in celebration of Holi, which turned out to be a tremendous success, featuring over 12 community partners and attracting more than 60 friends, neighbors, and seniors to join the fun. We managed to raise $500 for the senior center.
This year, we’re thrilled to announce a walkathon that encourages everyone in the community to get involved, all while supporting the senior center’s mission to provide enriching programs for our seniors. Our fundraising goal for this year is set at $1,000 for the senior center.
We would greatly appreciate your assistance with:

- Preparing walkers
- Organizing fun activities
- Event breakdown after the festivities.

Description
VIC-Valley InterCommunity Council offers a variety of nutritionally balanced meals to seniors, families, and individuals across the San Fernando Valley through its diverse nutrition programs. Whether it's for those recovering from a hospital stay, homebound individuals, or adults seeking a vibrant social dining experience, there’s something available for everyone. In addition to meal services, VIC also provides transportation, case management, health and wellness activities, and a range of social and recreational events. As our society evolves, we are inspired to find innovative ways to embody our values, adapt to current needs, and enhance the relevance of our services and programs.
