Can you play any instruments or sing well? Our bereavement team is searching for volunteers to assist them at memorial services, events or any other activities in which there may be a need for someone to play an instrument or sing.
Our patients also enjoy visits where someone will sing to them or play an instrument. It is proven that music therapy is very helpful in calming people.
You will need to complete a background, TB test and training- at no cost to you!
We do reimburse for mileage. Transportation is necessary. You must provide a copy of your driver's license and auto insurance.
This is an opportunity for the area we service: Armstrong, Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Lawrence, Washington, and Westmoreland counties. Please contact me for more details.
