Seaport Museum Archives Volunteer
ORGANIZATION: South Street Seaport Museum

This is a year round indoor opportunity to help the museum with digitizing and organizing records and photographs in its archive. No experience is necessary and training is provided. Projects include scanning photographs of past museum work, creating digital finding aids and transcribing physical museum records to digital formats.
Entry level : No prior experience is needed, j ust an interest in museums, archiving or data entry. We will provide training for each project as well as offer ongoing support as we work with you.
Specialized skills : Any experience with archiving is welcome. Data entry and spreadsheet experience is also a plus.
All volunteers must be at least 16 years old to participate .

- 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM EST - FULL
- afternoon / 01:00 PM to 04:00 PM EST - FULL
