ORGANIZATION: NEXT STEP ACADEMICS

Next Step Academics aims to be the foundation for preparing and empowering future students and leaders from diverse backgrounds. We’re looking for a seasoned donor relations director with a track record of leading successful fundraising initiatives, managing teams, and implementing strategy across a development department. The ideal candidate is a skilled manager, communicator, and leader passionate about our mission and will represent The Medica Zone to internal and external donors with professionalism and integrity. This person must also be able to collaborate equally well with our executives, board directors, and support staff. Responsibilities will include:

  • Build potential donors, foundations, and other development opportunities
  • Represent the organization’s mission to donors and potential donors
  • Oversee a small team of fundraisers, grant writers, and interns
  • Approve all written fundraising and outreach materials
  • Supervise and establish fundraising event coordination
  • Maintain database of donors and track gifts
