San Fran Tour

San Francisco has so many amazing neighborhoods with distinctive charm and hidden gems. We are currently seeking volunteers to lead our travelers on custom designed tours of these areas while highlighting the diversity and history of historically marginalized communities.

This is a great opportunity to show world travelers an off the beaten path view of San Fran and give them an experience they cannot find elsewhere.

If you have a favorite place in The City and wish to share it with people from all over the world, this opportunity is perfect for you!

This opportunity is flexible; we can work with your availability to schedule tours.

The benefits of volunteering with HI USA include:

  • Meet new people from all over the world, including travelers, staff, and fellow volunteers
  • Work to increase understanding and tolerance by helping people break down cultural barriers
  • Help travelers to the community have a great travel experience
  • Build skills in public speaking, foreign languages and intercultural communication
  • Participate in fun appreciation events for local volunteers
  • Receive personal and professional development opportunities
  • Earn HI USA membership and dorm overnights at HI USA hostels
