Job Posting: Social Media Manager

Description of Role: Custom Wig World 4 Kids Inc. (CWW4KIDS) is seeking a passionate and creative Volunteer Social Media Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing our online presence, spreading awareness about our mission, and engaging our community through various social media platforms. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to provide crucial cranial prosthetics, medical wigs, and psychological counseling to children and teenagers in need. (Kids suffering from Alopecia, Cancer, Chemotherapy, Lupus and many others)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with CWW4KIDS' goals and values.
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Foster and nurture meaningful interactions with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
  • Utilize analytics to monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and content, making data-driven adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall branding and messaging.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation of visual assets, including graphics and videos, that resonate with our target audience.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices to ensure our presence remains fresh and relevant.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative ideas for campaigns and initiatives.

Skills/Qualifications Needed:

  • Strong passion for the mission of CWW4KIDS and a deep commitment to making a positive impact.
  • Proficiency in using various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent written communication skills with an eye for crafting compelling and impactful content.
  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with tools like Canva or Adobe.
  • Ability to work independently and manage social media scheduling and engagement.

Desired Experience:

  • Previous experience managing social media accounts for a non-profit or similar organization is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare or children's advocacy sectors.
  • Experience in creating visually appealing graphics and short videos.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and the ability to derive insights to improve strategies.

Training:

  • Orientation and guidance on CWW4KIDS' mission, values, and communication style will be provided.
  • Access to necessary tools and platforms for scheduling and managing social media content.

Time Commitment:

  • This is a volunteer position with a flexible time commitment.
  • Approximately 8-10 hours per week, with the ability to adjust based on campaign and content needs.
