Can you imagine living at home at the end of life, and not having enough to eat? I'm recruiting volunteers to help with food-insecure hospice patients. This will involve sourcing free food through local foodshare programs and pantries, pick up, and delivery to either patient homes or Unity offices in Dogtown MO or Collinsville IL. There are going to be long lines, a fair bit of driving, and some hard situations. But, your emotional paycheck will be massive and your efforts will tangibly improve the lives of our most vulnerable.
