Looking to make an immediate difference in someone’s life? Want a flexible volunteer schedule? Do you like to drive? Go to volunteerdriver.org to learn more!

Feonix seeks community-first-minded volunteers to help older adults, veterans, cancer patients, and other individuals with transportation barriers get to anywhere they need to go including medical appointments, grocery shopping, vaccinations, family gatherings, religious events, and more.

Our mission is to improve the lives of community members whose needs are critical, but whose transportation is limited.

We are looking for volunteers who can answer yes to the following questions:

  1. Does flexible scheduling appeal to you?
  2. Are you a motivated, community-focused individual?
  3. Does helping others make you feel good?

The eligibility requirements to become a volunteer driver are as follows:

  1. You must be 19 years or older
  2. You must have a current driver’s license, personal vehicle, and insurance in your name.
  3. You must pass a background check

Volunteers have the opportunity to drive based on their own availability!

Mission Statement

Feonix - Mobility Rising creates mobility solution for the health and well-being of every person in every community

Description

Right now, in your community, there are people who have no way to get to the doctor, the pharmacy, the grocery store, or work.

Here at Feonix - Mobility Rising, we help fill in the gaps in the social service ecosystem for individuals living with transportation insecurity. We’ve been collaborating with communities around the United States since 2018 to solve some of the biggest mobility challenges in our communities.

We recruit and train volunteers and work with local transportation providers to provide free or low-cost rides to people in need. We also provide online disability training (ADAPT) for transportation professionals to help make all transportation accessible to people with mobility challenges.
