Jewish Family Service of the Desert (JFS) provides a volunteer-driven, medical appointment transportation program for mature adults who face challenges getting to their doctor appointments due to lack of ability to use a fixed line bus system, reside in an area where there is no paratransit service, do not have transportation provided through their medical insurance coverage, are unable to come out of pocket for taxi and/or ride share costs.
JFS is searching for volunteers who can form a team of JFS Express Coordinators to help operator the program.

Volunteers with Jewish Family Service are placed in positions that bring as much personal satisfaction and sense of purpose as do the programs which benefit the clients. There are over twelve different programs giving the voluneer great latidude for that which interests them.
