We need Russian speaking volunteers to sit and talk with low-income elderly in our Day Center that speak only Russian. This companionship opportunity may also include reading books or assisting with crafts or bingo. We need volunteers that can serve on Mondays or Wednesdays for 1-3 hours per week.

PACE is a Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly. By providing the services needed we make it possible for low income older adults to live in their own homes and neighborhoods.
Description
Huron Valley PACE provides medical and supportive services in
our Day Center for low income elderly. We also provide transportation
to and from the Day Center. We offer a variety of services that can
be provided in the comfort of your own home. We have relationships
with many specialists and providers in the community who ensure
that participants receive the care they need.
Services provided can include:

* Prevention Services & Education
* Nursing Care
* Social Work & Case Management
* Medications and Medication
Management
* Nutrition Counseling & Meals.
(Breakfast and lunch are offered
at the day center. We also offer
frozen meals to take home)
