CRIME VICTIMS ASSISTANCE CENTER, INC. is looking for volunteers to operate the Crisis Line and provide advocacy to victims in our area. This is a great opportunity for individuals to improve the lives of others as well as give back to their community.

CRIME VICTIMS ASSISTANCE CENTER, INC. [or CVAC] is a non-profit agency whose goal is to offer assistance and support to people who have either been victimized or are in danger of victimization. We have been in existence for almost thirty years.

A 40-hour training will begin on September 3rd, 2024.Volunteers-to-be will learn how to offer options and support to callers in crisis. They will also be trained to support victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, etc, in the community (hospitals, police stations, family court).

If you or someone you know would like to be a part of a team that we call the "quiet heroes" , please call our agency or visit us on the web at http://www.cvac.us
