Bears Ears Education Center in Bluff, Utah needs a part-time host to staff our front desk 32 hours a week in exchange for a full RV hookup plus utilities for at least a 1-month commitment, during March-November. Seeking people with good communication and interpersonal skills to provide information in a friendly, positive manner. Requirements: Support our mission (see www.BearsEarsPartnership.org), willing to pitch in on various tasks, self-reliant, able to follow instructions, use an iPad, read maps, handle cash, answer the same questions every day and stay cheerful. 4 - 8 hour shifts standing and sitting. Air conditioned/heated/no heavy lifting. Training is provided. This is a fun and meaningful job in a gorgeous, fascinating area. Email Kirsten@BearsEarsPartnership.org

We accomplish our mission through our education center, advocating for national designations, supporting smart local policy-making, and organizing research and volunteer service activities.
We also continue to monitor the work and actions of the Bureau of Land Management, US Forest Service, and the Glen Canyon National Recreation area, which are tasked with managing resources in the Greater Cedar Mesa area. We offer research, guidance and education, supporting managements' efforts to maintain wilderness values and protect cultural/archaeological assets, while providing for continued access for local residents and visitors from around the world.
