The person accepting this role could be an experienced pm, or someone with study needing practice. This person needs to be able to monitor progress and be a team cheerleader. They need leadership, encouraging, rewarding good work, and recognizing when players need to be switched out (nicely holding people accountable). It isn't easy, leading volunteers, but if you can move the needle here, you can move it anywhere.
A PM must be present each week. They need to join team meeting at the start - every week. A PM cannot be shy; they must be vocal.
Every project is essential to the organization's vision of bringing the most challenged to gainful and rewarding employment. Many of our volunteers need experience to enhance learning or enhance resume, others are seasoned practitioners wanting to give back. Our volunteers show this experience as actual employment. We help volunteers to effective resume and, where appropriate, portfolio.

Description
We are a charitable non-profit virtual foundation. Founded in 2009, we've worked with over 300 graduate students and past students helping them bridge the gap from education to gainful employment while helping KeelWorks build a structure for people needing change. Our goal is to be the equalizer, bringing those on the outside looking in to the inside. Our goal is to end poverty across the world, changing one life at a time. Our special approach involves grouping people for mutual support, teaching core competencies, and supporting goals with objective progress metrics and team accountability, We hope to build a structure for change that can be replicated hundreds and thousands of times. We don't give participants fish, but hope to teach them to fish for themselves.
