Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide comprehensive community awareness to help in the prevention of a major social problem of human trafficking.We offer services through our outreach programs and drop-in center to support victims. Our safe house program will offer long term healing to restore dignity, foster resilience, and empower survivors along their path to self- sufficiency.

Description

We are dedicated to raising awareness of the devastating effects human trafficking has on individuals, families, and communities. A variety of methods to increase awareness including film, public service announcements, and a podcast will aim to inform our communities and aid in prevention. Outreach programs to share information about resources available to help encourage victims to seek further assistance. Our drop -in center will serve as a welcoming space where survivors can access daily essentials, receive compassionate care, and find out information about available resources. Through trauma -informed care, counseling,medical assistance, vocational training and life skills development, we empower survivors to heal, regain their self-worth, and build a foundation for a brighter future.

  • As a board member we ask that you can commit at least an hour to attend board meetings monthly also additional time to work independently 1-14 hours a week depending on projects currently in process.
  • Commited to the cause of human trafficking, organized, puntual, great with time management, excellent verbal/ written skills, great interpersonal skills
