Role Overview:

As the Climate Change & Biodiversity Impact Investor and Systems Change Weaver in Virtual Residence, you are a visionary, a catalyst, and an ambassador of change. This voluntary role invites you to employ your extensive experience across various forms of impact investing, profound wisdom, and far-reaching social capital to drive systemic change, supporting our initiatives to combat climate change and preserve biodiversity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Mentorship & Social Capital Weaving: Share your expertise and insights from various fields of impact investing, including impact venture philanthropy, systems change philanthropy, systems change investing, impact venture capital, impact venture lab experience, impact investment financial product design, family office due diligence, and institutional foundation impact investing. Utilize your social capital to interweave our partner projects and initiatives with broader networks and resources.
  • Impact Potential Analysis: Collaborate with our teams to refine our impact investment strategy, ensuring our actions align with our commitment to addressing climate change and biodiversity preservation.
  • Systems Change Advocacy & Initiative Support: Leverage your social capital to advocate for systemic change, raising awareness of our initiatives and engaging diverse stakeholders in this vital discourse. Actively support our partner projects and direct systems change lab initiatives, providing them with the necessary resources and networks to maximize their impact.
  • Collaborative, Inspirational Discussions: Initiate and facilitate thought-provoking conversations about systemic change, fostering an environment that champions creativity, diversity of thought, and innovative problem-solving.
  • Continuous Learning & Knowledge Sharing: Keep abreast of the latest research, trends, and emerging ideas in climate change, biodiversity, and impact investing. Actively share this knowledge with our team, cultivating a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience across various forms of impact investing, such as impact venture philanthropy, systems change philanthropy, systems change investing, impact venture capital, impact venture lab experience, impact investment financial product design, family office due diligence, and institutional foundation impact investing.
  • Deep understanding of systemic change theories and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Passionate commitment to combating climate change and preserving biodiversity.
  • An extensive network within the fields of impact investing, environmental conservation, and/or systemic change.
