Mission Statement

Above and Beyond Tutoring’s mission is to provide accessible, one-on-one tutoring services for students who are not able to afford personalized tutoring. Our nonprofit status allows us to allocate funds to provide scholarships for personalized tutoring and provide necessary academic supplies to be successful at school. Our tutors are certified educators that provide tutoring services for students in the Rock Hill and surrounding areas.

Description

Above and Beyond tutoring received its 501c status in May of 2022. Above and Beyond Tutoring has accomplished many of our short-term goals.

-We have created partnerships with all the two Rock Hill Middle Schools counseling departments to identify at-risk students specifically in the Area of Mathematics.

-We have trained 5 certified teachers the SAGA tutoring program to effectively tutor at-risk students.

-We have secured reoccurring funding from local businesses to create a sustainable nonprofit.

-We were featured on CN2 news a local newscast that highlighted our work and how it benefits our community.
