What is the Library Teen Council?

The Council is a teen library leadership group, also known as a Teen Advisory Council, for high school and junior high school students.

Get experience to add to a college application.
Meet other teens who want to make a difference in their community.
Help decide what materials to order for the library’s teen area.
Help plan library programs of interest to teens.
Help with the Teen Garden space.

The mission of the Oxnard Public Library is to provide the community equitable and free access to print, multimedia, and electronic information resources needed for full participation in the community and for the enrichment of individual lives.
