GRAB A BUDDY AND VOLUNTEER TOGETHER! Either in a home setting or in a facility, visiting with our patients will brighten their day! Our volunteers can visit a patient just to talk, play a game or attend an activity with them. Some write cards or help with light yard or housework. Other volunteers might prefer to come in and help in the office with supplies or paperwork. There are many ways to volunteer. We can even talk about shadowing a nurse or Medical Social Worker if schedules permit. Contact me for more details.

Description
We offer Home Health and Hospice services all over the nation. I am the Volunteer Coordinator for the Norman, Moore and South OKC metro area. I am looking for compassionate people willing to give of their time. Our hospice patients love when a volunteer can come visit with them. Our caregivers/family members sometimes need to do errands or have time by themselves. Our volunteers are ready and willing to be with our patients during this time. We have other kinds of opportunities as well, such as a Pet Therapy program! - We will work around a student's schedule and/or work to accommodate volunteering when it's convenient for them. How many hours one volunteers a month is up to them. An hour or two a week? every other week? We're happy to make it work for you!
- After the Background check, with fingerprints, and TB test all come back clear, we provide a 2-hour orientation to get you ready to volunteer with us. We comply with HIPAA and privacy laws and a few other compliance agreements will apply.
