Gentiva's mission to our patients is to always keep our patient and their family first by enhancing their quality of life through the professional delivery of clinical excellence, extraordinary service and compassionate restorative and palliative homecare and hospice services.
Gentiva is looking for volunteers to make visits to our patients both in their home or facility in which they reside. Volunteers make a huge impact on our seniors and they look forward to each visit.
Volunteering in Hospice is no hands on care. You are strictly there to make their day brighter.
To become a volunteer Gentiva will pay for your backgound check, fingerprinting, drug screening (minus marijuana) and 2 step TB test. This only has to be done initially. Once it is completed I will introduce you to a patient and you will be on your way to serve the community.
