ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross of Northern New England

As a blood drive volunteer in Waldo County, you'll be asked to serve just once every three months. While it may not be frequent, it truly is important, and it provides a wonderful opportunity to form meaningful relationships with the donors.

Your role as a volunteer involves warmly greeting donors and ensuring their comfort during their visit. After their donation, you'll make sure they have access to refreshments and engage in friendly conversations. As they prepare to leave, you'll likely be the last Red Crosser to thank them and tell them you hope to see them next time.

If you are a people person, are at least 16 years old, and possess some computer skills to assist with donor check-in procedures, there could almost not be a better opportunity!
