Position: Long-Form Video/Podcast Editor
Experience Level: 1 Year (Long form video Editing)
Availability: 5 < hours per week
About the Role:
As a Long-Form Video/Podcast Editor, you will be an integral part of our content production team, responsible for crafting engaging and captivating video and podcast episodes. You will work with a diverse range of long-form content, including interviews, narrative-driven stories, and discussions. Your editing expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality content that resonates with our audience.
Responsibilities:
- Edit long-form video and podcast episodes, adhering to the project's specific requirements and creative vision.
- Collaborate closely with the content creators and producers to ensure the edited content aligns with the overall narrative and desired message.
- Trim and assemble raw footage into a polished and coherent final product, paying attention to transitions, pacing, and audio clarity.
- Enhance the visuals and audio through color grading, audio mixing, and sound design, elevating the overall production quality.
- Utilize a variety of video and audio editing software to achieve professional results.
- Manage and organize project files efficiently, ensuring a smooth workflow throughout the editing process.
- Meet deadlines and deliver completed edits in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in reel editing, with a focus on long-form video and podcast content.
- Proficiency in video and audio editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Audacity, or similar tools.
- A keen eye for detail, storytelling, and the ability to bring out the best in every piece of content.
- Understanding of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling to maintain audience engagement.
- Knowledge of various video and audio formats, codecs, and exporting standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

- A portfolio or examples of previous work that demonstrates your editing skills and creativity.
